Estate Cleanout
After a death, a move to care, or the decision to downsize, the house still needs to be cleared. We handle the full clearance — furniture, belongings, keepsakes, the contents of every closet and cabinet — so the family can focus on what actually matters.
What’s included
- Full-property removal — every room, closet, attic, basement, garage, and shed
- You tell us what to preserve; we follow those instructions exactly
- Donations routed to Goodwill, Habitat ReStore, and local charities with receipts
- Resale items documented and sold at our discretion, with the proceeds reconciled on your final invoice
- Hazardous materials identified and routed to licensed disposal
- Photograph-documented report delivered after every job
- Supervisor wears a bodycam on site — footage retained and available on request
How it works for this service
Most estate cleanouts take one to three days depending on property size and fill level. Our supervisor photographs every item before it leaves the property and tags its disposition (removed, donated, for resale, flagged for family review). You receive a complete record you can share with your attorney, realtor, or co-executors.
Common questions
Do we need to be there?
No. Most of our clients aren't on site. We work from a lockbox or key you provide, and you receive a full photographic report when we're done.
What happens to valuables?
Anything that looks potentially valuable — jewelry, watches, documents, cash, heirlooms — is flagged for family review before it leaves the property. You decide what stays.
How fast can you start?
Same-week availability in Central Virginia. For time-sensitive clearances (closings, court dates), we can often start within 48 hours.
